Which Magnifier Do I Choose?
There is a trade-off between magnification/magnifying power, and viewable area.
As you increase magnification, the viewable area gets smaller.
For example, text may be bigger, but you only may see one letter at a time.

To use a standing loupe, a standing magnifier, or a loupe/magnifier with a base, place the magnifier directly on top of the object you would like to view. The magnifier will only work if you are viewing a flat object. Once the magnifier is in place, move your head so your eye is directly above the magnifier, as close as you can get without touching the magnifier with your face.
