# CarsonCAM MAC Operating System Compatibility

CarsonCAM only works with MAC operating system OS 14.1+, so you must use the previous software called xploview which you can download on [our software page](https://www.carson.com/customers/software) or through this [direct link](https://media.carson.com/repository/software/v3.3.31_xploview_mac.zip). Please note that the previous version (xploview) for MacOS does not include full support for some feature and settings for the latest microscope versions v4.0+
